LET'S ARTS AWARD

DISCOVER

Qualification : Introductory Level, certificate 

Guided Hours : 5 - 10

Self Led Hours : 2 - 5

Age : 5+

Cost : £25

Arts Award Discover is a nationally recognised introductory arts qualification designed for children aged 5 and above.

Delivered by Let’s Animate through fun, hands-on workshops, it provides a gentle and engaging first step into the world of creativity while building confidence, curiosity, and a sense of achievement.

As the first level of the Arts Award, Discover encourages children to explore different art forms, take part in creative activities, and share what they enjoy with others.

Through our animation sessions, participants learn the basics of storytelling, character design, and simple animation techniques while creating their own short animated pieces.

LET'S ARTS AWARD

EXPLORE

Qualification : Introductory Level 1, certificate 

Guided Hours : 10 - 20

Self Led Hours : 5 - 10

Age : 7+

Cost : £45

Arts Award Explore is a nationally recognised Level 1 qualification designed for young people aged 7 and above.

 

Delivered through Let’s Animate’s engaging animation workshops, it offers the perfect next step after Discover, supporting children to deepen their creativity, develop new skills, and begin to reflect on their artistic experiences.

As part of the Explore award, participants build on their interest in the arts by taking part in a range of hands-on animation activities.

They learn more about storytelling, character creation, and animation techniques while creating their own projects and recording their progress.

The award encourages children to think more independently about what inspires them and how they can develop their ideas.

LET'S ARTS AWARD

BRONZE

Qualification : Introductory Level 1, certificate 

Guided Hours : 20 - 30

Self Led Hours : 10 - 20

Age : 11+

Cost : £65

Arts Award Bronze is a nationally recognised Level 1 qualification designed for young people aged 11 and above.

Delivered through Let’s Animate, it supports participants in developing their creativity, building practical animation skills, and gaining their first formal qualification in the arts.

As the first accredited level of Arts Award, Bronze encourages young people to take greater ownership of their creative journey.

Through our animation workshops, participants plan and create their own work, explore the work of professional animators and artists, and begin to develop their confidence in reviewing and presenting ideas.

LET'S ARTS AWARD

SILVER

Guided Hours : 30 - 40

Self Led Hours : 20 - 30

Age : 14+

Cost : £85

Arts Award Silver is a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification designed for young people aged 14 and above.

Delivered through Let’s Animate, it supports participants in developing advanced creative skills, exploring the arts in greater depth, and taking on leadership roles within creative projects.

As the next step after Bronze, Silver encourages young people to work more independently, challenge themselves creatively, and reflect thoughtfully on their progress.

Through our animation-based programme, participants plan and produce more developed animation work, research artists and creative industries, and gain experience in leading and supporting others.

Our mobile animation studio can

pop up at your location -

space for eight animation stations

Arts Award runs alongside our other animation sessions, so to complete your award, you’ll need to book onto these workshops. This ensures you receive hands-on guidance, develop new skills, and enjoy the full creative experience while working towards your recognised qualification.
