Come and be a part of our growing community of Awesome Animators, where you can make new friends, share creative interests, and build connections, all while creating your
own animated film.
In these one-hour sessions, filmmakers are given a short animation challenge and are free to create an animation based around this theme in a stress-free and supportive atmosphere.
From learning the basics of animation to exploring advanced techniques, animation club is designed to cater to all skill levels, whilst providing a space for filmmakers to collaborate, exchange ideas, develop skills and explore the world of animation, expressing your style and vision.
Every film you create is returned to you, helping you build an impressive filmmaking portfolio!
WHAT HAPPENS AT LET'S ANIMATES ANIMATION CLUB

INTRODUCTION
Filmmakers are welcomed and introduced to an animation challenge, that can be completed within the hour.
Examples of the challenge are presented and studied.

ANIMATION CHALLENGE
Filmmakers create their own version of the chosen challenge.
challenges vary from week to week, utilising different mediums and styles.
3.
ANIMATING & EDITING
Filmmakers animate their scenes, applying the
techniques learned.
Moving onto editing to refine their animations and add
final touches.
4.
ENCOURAGING CREATIVITY
While following the chosen challenge, filmmakers are encouraged to think creatively and express their unique ideas.
Fostering their own styles and ideas while learning various techniques and processes.
5.
SHOWCASING & SHARING
At the end of the session, filmmakers share their work with the group.
Reflecting on what they enjoyed and appreciated about each other's films.
6.
FILM PORTFOLIO
Each Filmmaker builds a portfolio of their animations that they can save and share.

from script to screen.
Filmmakers will learn how to develop a short story, build sets and models, animate, edit and add sounds.
By the end of the day, filmmakers will have created their very own animated scene to showcase their filmmaking abilities.
Let's Animate is dedicated to fostering creativity and providing a supportive environment for all participants to explore, learn, and grow as filmmakers.
WHAT HAPPENS AT LET'S ANIMATES FULL DAY ANIMATION WORKSHOP

INTRODUCTION
Filmmakers gather and receive an overview of the day's schedule and objectives.
Brief introduction to animation styles and techniques.

STORY DEVELOPMENT
Working independently filmmakers are introduced to story development.
Brainstorming and devising a short story, planning and scripting a narrative.

CREATING SCENES & MODELS
Using supplied art materials, filmmakers create, backgrounds, characters
and props.
Bringing their stories
to life visually.

ANIMATION TECHNIQUES
Introduction to basic animation techniques.
Filmmakers learn how to use the animation equipment, along with some top tips on how to animate effectively.
5.
ANIMATING & EDITING
Filmmakers animate their scenes, applying the techniques learned.
Moving onto editing to refine their animations and add the final touches.
6.
WRAP - UP
Filmmakers share their work, with each other.

These sessions are tailored to meet your individual learning needs, whether you prefer a single session or ongoing instruction. You'll receive everything you need to start and continue your animation journey.
In these one-to-one sessions, filmmakers are presented with an animation challenge and are encouraged to create an animation based on this theme in a relaxed and supportive environment.
From mastering the basics of animation to exploring advanced techniques, our one-to-one sessions cater to all skill levels, helping you develop your skills and express your unique style and vision in
the world of animation.
THE STUDIO
All workshops can be held at the
LET'S ANIMATE studio in Coventry,
designed to spark creativity.
Equipped with high-end tools and materials, it truly offers a vibrant creative atmosphere.
Alternatively, LET'S ANIMATE can come to you with our mobile studio!
We require a room with ample tables and enough space for eight animation stations.
AFTER THE WORKSHOP \ CLUB
After all workshops, all films will be sent back to you individually via a dropbox link,
allowing you to keep and share your creations.
