Arts Award Bronze is a nationally recognised Level 1 qualification designed for young people aged 11 and above.
Delivered through Let’s Animate, it supports participants in developing their creativity, building practical animation skills, and gaining their first formal qualification in the arts.
As the first accredited level of Arts Award, Bronze encourages young people to take greater ownership of their creative journey.
Through our animation workshops, participants plan and create their own work, explore the work of professional animators and artists, and begin to develop their confidence in reviewing and presenting ideas.
During the programme, participants:
Develop and create their own animation project, building practical and creative skills
Research and explore the work of artists or animators who inspire them
Experience an arts event or activity and reflect on what they learned
Share their skills with others by supporting or leading a simple creative activity
Record their progress and reflections in a personal arts portfolio
Arts Award Bronze is a portfolio-based qualification with no exams. It supports young people in becoming more independent, reflective, and confident in their creative abilities.
On completion, participants receive an official Level 1 qualification accredited by Trinity College London, which is also recognised on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
Let’s Animate delivers Bronze through engaging, structured sessions that focus on creativity, teamwork, and personal development.
It is ideal for schools, youth organisations, and community groups looking to provide a meaningful arts qualification while helping young people grow in confidence and skill through animation.
