LET'S CREATE A FILM! ANIMATION COURSE Group Size : Up To 30 Length : 5 Days Cost : £1625 Age : 7+ Split into small creative teams, filmmakers will set off on a five-day animated adventure - learning the full journey of bringing a story to life on screen! ​ From dreaming up ideas and storyboarding, to building sets, crafting characters, animating frame by frame and editing it all together - each day is packed with hands-on fun creativity. ​ By the end of the week, you'll have a fully finished animated film to show off and be proud of - and a full understanding of how the magic of animation really works! YOUR QUICK GUIDE TO LET'S CREATE A FILM 1. KICK-OFF & STORY MAGIC Start with a fun intro to the world of animation! ​ Then it's time to get creative - filmmakers brainstorm and dream up original story ideas to bring to life. 2. SKETCH IT OUT Learn how to craft a great story and see how storyboards help turn your ideas into a clear plan. ​Then grab your pencils and sketch frame by frame - just like a comic strip for your movie. 3. BUILD YOUR WORLD Get hands-on with materials and dive into creating awesome sets, props and characters - whether it's clay, paper or bricks, it's time to make your story real! 4. LIGHTS, CAMERA, ANIMATE Time to bring it all to life! ​ Learn how to use our animation stations, pick up some cool tricks and start animating your scenes, one frame at a time. 5. CUT, EDIT, SHINE Learn the basics of editing software and polish your film - cut, tweak and add sound to make your movie shine. 6. SHOWCASE Roll out the red carpet! ​ Watch everyone's amazing films, share feedback and celebrate what you've all learned about animation, teamwork and storytelling. THE STUDIO All workshops can be held at the LET'S ANIMATE studio in Coventry, designed to spark creativity. Alternatively, LET'S ANIMATE can come to you with our mobile studio! AFTER THE WORKSHOP \ CLUB After every workshop, your awesome animations will be sent straight to you via a handy Dropbox link - perfect for sharing with friends, family, or just watching on repeat! Want to give your films that movie magic feel? For a little extra, LET’S ANIMATE can polish things up by editing all your clips into one snazzy film - complete with titles, credits, and extra flair.​​
