LET'S CREATE A SCENE! ANIMATION DAY Group Size : Up To 30 Length : 5 Hours Cost : £325 Age : 7+ Filmmakers team up in smaller groups to dive into the pre-selected animation style, planning, scripting and building scenes to ring a short story to life! ​ The first half of the day focuses on dreaming up your story and creating awesome models, props and sets. Then, it's time to get hands-on animating and editing your mini-movie. ​ By the end, you'll know all about storytelling, model-making and the cool tricks to bring your animation to life! ​ Our Animation Day is a great chance to get creative, collaborate and learn real skills that bring your ideas to the screen! YOUR QUICK GUIDE TO LET'S CREATE A SCENE 1. INTRODUCTION Filmmakers gather for a rundown of the day's plan and a fun introduction to different animation styles and inspiring artists. 2. STORYTIME TEAMWORK Split into smaller groups to brainstorm and craft a short, exciting story - planning and scripting your narrative together. 3. CREATE YOUR WORLD Working with your team, use our awesome art materials to build backgrounds, characters and props that bring your story to life! 4. ANIMATION 101 Learn the basics of animation and get hands-on with our supplied animation stations. ​Plus, pick up some handy tips to make your animation smooth and fun. 5. LIGHTS, CAMERA, ANIMATE Animate your scenes using the techniques you've learned. Then dive into editing - adding those final touches to make your movie shine. 6. SHOWCASE Wrap up with a chat about what you've learned about storytelling, animation and teamwork. ​ Plus celebrate all the amazing films created! THE STUDIO All workshops can be held at the LET'S ANIMATE studio in Coventry, designed to spark creativity. Alternatively, LET'S ANIMATE can come to you with our mobile studio! AFTER THE WORKSHOP \ CLUB After every workshop, your awesome animations will be sent straight to you via a handy Dropbox link - perfect for sharing with friends, family, or just watching on repeat!
