LET'S HAVE A TASTER! ANIMATION TASTER SESSION Group Size : Up To 30 Length : 2 Hours Cost : £225 Age : 7+ Filmmakers split into small groups to dive into the chosen animation style, getting a sneak peek into the magical world of animation!​ ​ The first hour is all about creating - building characters and scenes - while the second hour is packed with animating and editing your very own mini movie. ​ By the end, you'll be an animation pro - mastering the equipment, techniques and all the coolest animation secrets! ​ This taster session is a quick, creative burst that lets you jump right into the fun and discover the awesome animation process! YOUR QUICK GUIDE TO LET'S HAVE A TASTER 1. INTRODUCTION Filmmakers gather to hear what's in store for the day and get a quick intro to some cool animation styles and tricks. ​ ​2. TEAM BRAINSTORM Split into smaller groups and put your heads together to dream up a short story to animate. 3. CREATE YOUR WORLD Depending on your animation style, get hands-on! ​ Build plasticine characters, craft cut-out paper figures or pick your favourite Lego bricks to bring your story to life. 4. ANIMATION 101 Learn the ropes! We'll show you how to use our animation stations and share top tips to make your animation smooth and exciting. 5. LIGHTS, CAMERA, ANIMATE Bring your story to life frame by frame! ​ Then jump into editing - adding sounds and polishing your mini movie. 6. SHOWTIME Wrap up with a chat about what you've learned about storytelling, animation and teamwork. ​ Plus celebrate all the amazing films created! THE STUDIO All workshops can be held at the LET'S ANIMATE studio in Coventry, designed to spark creativity. Alternatively, LET'S ANIMATE can come to you with our mobile studio! AFTER THE WORKSHOP \ CLUB After every workshop, your awesome animations will be sent straight to you via a handy Dropbox link - perfect for sharing with friends, family, or just watching on repeat!
